KAVULUNGAN Warranty Statement

1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 This warranty applies to the “KAVULUNGAN (KL) Wheelset” (hereinafter referred to as the “Product”).
1.2 The warranty covers defects inherent to the Product and manufacturing flaws under normal consumer use.
1.3 Warranty services are available only to consumers who purchase the Product through official sales channels, such as authorized distributors, online stores, or the company’s Facebook fan page. Warranty claims require proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt. The warranty does not cover products acquired through resale or second-hand channels.
1.4 Products purchased through official channels include a warranty certificate, which is acknowledged by consumers upon signing.
2. Warranty Period:
2.1 Duration of Warranty: The warranty period is 2 years, starting from the purchase date as indicated by the proof of purchase.
2.2 Calculation Basis: The warranty period is based on the product’s initial purchase date. Any repairs or services performed during the warranty period do not extend its duration.
3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage:
3.1 Damage caused by improper handling: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper transportation, storage, or riding by the user.
3.2 Improper installation or use of non-approved accessories: Damage caused by incorrect installation of the product or the use of non-official accessories (e.g., quick releases, brake pads, rim tape) is not covered.
3.3 Lack of maintenance: Damage due to improper or irregular maintenance is excluded from warranty coverage.
3.4 Modification or disassembly: Issues arising from user-applied painting, modifications to original parts, or disassembly of the product are not covered.
3.5 Normal wear and tear: Regular wear, such as on brake pads, brake surfaces, or rim tape, is not covered.
3.6 Unauthorized purchase channels: Products not purchased through the company’s authorized sales channels are not eligible for warranty service.
3.7 Damage from external forces: Damage caused by external factors such as impacts, misuse, or inappropriate riding is excluded.
3.8 Improper usage: Any other damage resulting from abnormal or improper use by the consumer is not covered.

4. How to Contact for Warranty Service:
4.1 Contact Authorized Dealers: Please contact an authorized dealer and submit both the product and the warranty certificate together. The dealer will manage the subsequent warranty procedures.
4.2 Before Submitting for Warranty Service: Before sending the product for warranty service, please ensure that all non-KL wheelset components (e.g., tires, inner tubes, rim tape, cassettes, magnet sensors, quick releases) are removed. The company will not be responsible for storing or compensating for any non-KL components left attached during the warranty process.

5. Privacy Statement for Warranty Information:
5.1 Use of Personal Data: In accordance with personal data protection laws, all personal information provided by the consumer will be used solely for warranty and after-sales services.
5.2 Right to Refuse or Request Deletion: Consumers have the right to withhold personal information or request the deletion of their personal data.

 However, please note that the company will be unable to provide warranty and after-sales services without this information.
